A/Prof Amanda Vincent
Clinical A/Prof. Amanda Vincent has an international and national reputation in clinical research and translation focused on menopause, particularly early menopause, premature ovarian insufficiency and menopause associated with cancer. She combines both clinical practice in menopause with menopause related research/ translation and education of both health professionals and consumers. This is demonstrated by her roles as: (1) lead endocrinologist in the Menopause Unit, Monash Health (Victoria's largest health service), including the Early Menopause clinic; (2) Head of Early Menopause Research, Monash Centre for Health Research and Implementation, Monash University with successful grant funding in projects related to early menopause research, consumer and health professional education and publications in international peer-reviewed journals; (3) current President of the Australasian Menopause Society; (4) a member of the editorial board of the international journal “Climacteric”; and (5) an invited speaker at international and national meetings related to early menopause.
