A / Professor Matthew Foote
Associate Professor Foote is a Radiation Oncologist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane. He is a full time academic clinician (teaching and research) since his appointment as a Staff Specialist in 2010. Associate Professor Foote established and is Co-director of the Gamma Knife® Centre of Queensland, the only public unit in Australia providing Gamma Knife® radiosurgery for brain tumours. Having completed his advanced training in 2009, Assoc Prof Foote commenced a neuro-oncology and stereotactic fellowship at the Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto, Canada. Assoc Prof Foote now has a subspecialist interest in management of benign tumours and is actively involved in the management of patients with pituitary tumours. He has an established clinical and translational research program with multiple national and international collaborations, serving as study chair on both national and international clinical studies.
