Dr Ada Cheung
Ada Cheung is an Endocrinologist at Austin Health, Victoria and a PhD student in the Department of Medicine (Austin Health), The University of Melbourne. She also works as an Endocrinologist at the Australian Prostate Cancer Research Centre and in transgender health.
Her research is in the muscle and bone effects of androgen deprivation therapy for prostate cancer in men and is supported by an NHMRC Postgraduate Scholarship. For her work in this area, she has recently been awarded the Bryan Hudson Clinical Endocrinology Award and an Endocrine Society Outstanding Abstract Award at ENDO2016. Dr Cheung has previously been on the ESA Seminar Program Organising Committee, Local Working Party for the ADS Type 1 Diabetes Consulting Skills and Technologies Project and an RACP Victorian and Tasmanian Trainees' Committee Member.
